To the Editor:Re “Mike Pence, Holy Terror” (column, July 29):In questioning whether we should trade Donald Trump for Mike Pence, Frank Bruni leaves out an important fact: Mr. Pence would at least be sane and act reasonably. controls the White House, House and the Senate, right?) Mr. Trump seems determined to ensure that anyone who isn’t worshiping the ground he walks on is living in constant dread. At the very least, Mr. Pence would behave like a conventional politician.
